300 m high mountain in the Laacher Kuppenland of the Laacher volcanoes in the Lower Middle Rhine area, Mendig, Mayen-Koblenz district, Rhineland-Palatinate, where there is a quarry and the Wingertsbergwand, which was created through mining.
Basalt lavas with layers of pumice. Particularly beautiful Haüyne.
Note: The Wingertsbergwand, which is under protection, is a natural monument - collecting is punishable, 9.2013. The quarries can only be entered with the permission of the operators.
