About Collobrièrite
A layered metamorphic rock from Collobrières, near Toulon, France, probably derived from an oolithic iron ore.
Mineral composition (Lacroix, 1917): gruenerite 43.7, fayalite 21.1, garnet 16.6, ilmenite + magnetite + pyrite + pyrrhotite 17.5, and apatite 1.1%.
