"Southeast of Rennes on the D163 until Corps-Nuds. Take the D41 until Retiers and follow the D94. In the Le Semnon mine and its dumps one will encounter (gold-bearing) arsenopyrite." [Belot, 1978]

Old antimony mine which yielded 500 metric tonnes of antimony between 1895 and 1918.
Later, small quantities of gold were mined, after recognition of its presence in the ore.
