The A/S Bjørkåsen Gruber company has been prospecting these zinc occurrences in the period 1945-47.
The ore zone can be followed over a length of 3/4 km (=0.75 km?) and occurs as rich bands and impregnations.
There are 3-4 prospects and several places where samples have been taken. There is a small prospect ca. 100 m NNE, into the direction of lower Kaldådalen.
In the Svend Pedersen collection of the Evje og Hornnes geomuseum Fennefoss museum is a sample consisting of fine-grained sphalerite/galena in a fine-grained quartz matrix.

The NGU has registered the following prospects/sample points:
Prospect 1 : 68.3243958,16.8690458
Prospect 2 : 68.3266100,16.8716550
-Sample point 1 : 68.3266183,16.8709283
-Sample point 2 : 68.3261700,16.8708908
Prospect 3 : 68.3270450,16.8729042
Prospect 4 : 68.3274792,16.8741542
-Sample point 1 : 68.3283842,16.8735000

None of these seem to correspond well with features on the LiDAR map that are clear signs of prospecting. However, there are signs at:
68.32844,16.87396
68.3277,16.87171
68.32516,16.86748
