Gold and silver mineralization in rhyolite.
Structure: Crater Range

Alteration: Devitrification & Silicification

Deposit: Discovered in 1910 by judge hughes, of jarbidge 5 claims. 3-ft wide vein which pinches and swells. The mine was opened in 1921 by 2000 ft. Of workings to a depth of about 400 feet (adits, drifts, smallshaft). ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Geology: Ore is slightly cellular or vuggy-characteristic of pseudomorphic replacement ores.
