Alpine clefts in orthogneiss of the Antigorio nappe.
Titanite (as yellow to pink to orange and green crystals up to 2 cm in size) and the associated minerals are found in rocky walls and landslide boulders in a triangular area, at an elevation between 850 and 1030 m asl, situated on the left bank of Rio Alfenza, a narrow stream that flows along the southeastern slope of Mount Cistella, not far from the fifth turning of the road that leads to Deccia.
