Old quarry in a basaltic cinder cone, located 2 km north of Espaly-St Marcel and 4 km NW of Le Puy-en-Velay. Numerous enclaves of thermometamorphic rocks ("buchite") where recovered while the quarry was active. They contain a rich paragenesis, with close similarities to the Eifel quarries.
