A zircon locality.
Almost circular granite intrusion c. 20km in diameter enclosing an 8 x 10 km body of country rock volcanics, gneisses and mignatites; it is roofed by gabbro, rhyolite and granophyre (Delfour 1977).
Granites contain Th-rich zircon crystals up to 1cm across.
