Old copper mine in ophiolites (gabbro eufotide) east of Provincial Road 62.
In 1881, it had 5 levels of galleries with 110 meters depth, but was closed in 1885 after the death of the owner and his son in a mine accident.
In 1938 an unsuccessful attempt was made to reopen the mine; in 1950 there was some more exploration, after which the mine was definitively abandoned.
