At Železník, magnetite mineralization occurs related with mineralization of Lahn-Dill type. Mineralization is situated in vulcano-sedimentary rocks of earlier Paleozoic, Permian and Triassic age. Fe-mineralization forms mostly magnetite, amphiboles and pyroxenes.
Mt Železník (711m) lies to the southwest.

ⓘ Formula: {Na}{Ca2}{Mg3Al2}(Si5Al3O22)(OH)2 Description: Ozdín & Rojkovič (2006) publish 66 analysis of different amphiboles from the locality. None of them have C(Al+Fe3+2Ti)>1,5, consequently none of them qualify as sadanagaite and he authors themselves state that "The hastingsite's chemical composition is characterized by fluctuations in the content of Si and Al, in which gradually passes towards sadanagite" (translated from Slovak), and they also do not include sadanagaite in the mineral list from the locality. Chemical composition ( analysis with lowest Si and highest Al+Fe3): SiO2-37.49, TiO2-0.14, Al2O3-12.23, Cr2O3-0.01, MnO-0.15, FeO-24.17, Fe2O3-4,66 MgO-3,79, CaO -11,59, Na2O-2,28, K2O-1,10 H2O , F-0,06 Cl-0,56 |
