A Cu prospect located in sec. 2, T22S, R42E, MDM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) E of Millspaugh (site), on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Argus Range Wilderness). Owned by John A. Gage, Alta Loma, California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is skarn formed at contacts, jasper. Alteration includes dolomitization of limestone. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Mojave Desert and Death Valley area).
Workings include unspecified underground openings (topo map reflects 2 shaft symbols at the mine name plus another nearby to the N, plus 3 adit symbols in the area.).
