Gold-bearing sands on Upper Cretaceous sandstones and/or triassic sandstones (Buntsandstein). Occurrences most likely concern the "Złoty Las" (Golden Forest) area, as traces of exploitation span for ca. 5 sq. km between Dworek, Sobota, Pieszkowice, Bielanka, and Płakowice (but with similar formations between Zbylutów, Chmieleń, Żerkowice, Skała, Włodzice Wielkie, and Suszki).

The gold is said to be still present in the heaps, and to be of a high Au content. The rocks listed are found as fragments within the sands.
