"The cave S11D-0047 has been generated from leaching processes on the basalts of the Parauapebas Formation and its positioning along regional lineage favored percolation of meteoric water provoking the enlargement of
the cave, evidencing that the weathering and the structural conditioning
the main responsible ones by the origin and evolution of this cave".
The entrance is at an altitude of 725 metre and covers an area of approximately 359m2.
