A large open pit lead-zinc mine at the headwaters of Onion Creek. The ore occurred as veins and a breccia a in dolomite of the middle dolomite unit of the Metaline Formation near a contact with granite. Development consisted of two pits and a mill. It had most of its sporadic production from 1952 to 1970 and from 1991-1993. Around 2,900,000 tons of ore were produced averaging 3.8% Zn and 0.5% Pb. From this 95,300 tons Pb and 11,600 tons Zn were produced. Additionally 5,700,000 tons of waste were excavated.
