Three Friends Mine


A former copper-manganese mine located near Black and White Lakes on the West slope of Mount Gladys. It worked 3 lenses along the contact of basalt with phyllite graywacke. Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 200-foot adit, a 40-foot shaft, and several open cuts and pits. It produced ore in 1915.
