Zard mountain ("Zard" is the Balochi language word for "yellow color") is in the south area of the Ras Koh mountains, west of Kharan. This seems to be the most detailed location name for the new brookite and anatase specimen sold under location Kharan (Balochistan, Pakistan).

Coordinates are those of the highest summit at 1,650 m
