Paragenetic Mode 4 : Primary chondrule phases

Return to the list of paragentic modes

Description

Overlapping pulses of nebular mineralization are preserved as the primary igneous minerals of chondrules, which represent solidified droplets, typically <0.1 cm diameter, that formed during the first few million years of the solar nebula, ~4.566 to 4.561 Ga.

Age: 4.566–4.561 Ga

Stage

Stage 1: Primary nebular phases - Age: 4.567-4.561 Ga
3 : Solar nebular condensates (CAIs, AOAs, URIs)
4 : Primary chondrule phases
