A former graphitic limestone deposit/quarry located in the S½ sec. 6, T16S, R10E, SBM, 4.1 km (2.6 miles) SE of Carrizo Mountain (coordinates of record) and 7.4 km (4.6 miles) N of Coyote Wells. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a sedimentary deposit hosted in Late Permian metasedimentary rock. The ore body is bedded, strikes N65E and dips 45NW. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic granitic and metamorphic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface openings comprised of small open cuts.
