A former graphite occurrence/mine located in the NE¼NE¼SE¼ sec. 26, T15N, R19E, MDM, W of Carson City proper. Discovered in 1903. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Local rocks include shale, sandstone, volcanogenic clastic rocks, andesite, rhyolite, and locally thick carbonate units.
