Small outcrop on the southwestern slope of Punta Muret.

This polymetamorphic granodioritic augen gneiss, the so-called «gneiss amygdalaires» of Vialon (1966), is characterised by an augen structure
with large (2-10 cm), polycrystalline nodules mainly made of albite, quartz and relics of K feldspar [Its main outcrops are located in the Pellice Valley and in the southern part of the Dora-Maira massif].
