Hardcastle Creek Deposit


Deposit: Reference to record 010: iron oxide is a deleterious mineral area had been investigated both by us geol survey and bur. O staff for its tin potenial in the early 1940s. Reference to record 060: cassiterite found with hematite in semi-irregular stringers contained in strongly kaolinized rhylolite porphyry. Cassiterite found in hardcastle crk gravel beds downstream from where cassiterite outcrops. Reference to record 080: average length of mineral zone pert length of placer deposit. Strike and dip pertain to cassit veins in phyolite.
