Worked independantly and jointly with nearby Atlas and Smallcombe mines. Finally closing around 1920 this may well have been the processing site for output from these other 2 mines. The grid ref relates to a large and intact wheel pit with a dump of crushed rock cemented with rust just beyond (Dec 2003).
