Al Hoddaydah
Peralkaline granite of perthite, quartz, alkali amphibole and rare sodic pyroxene (which is invariably rimmed and replaced by amphibole and opaque minerals) with accessory zircon, monazite and rare fluorite (Capaldi et al. 1987).
This granite appears to correspond to the Al Hoddaydah granite of Civetta et al. (1978).
