The socalled "ilvaite pegmatite" close to the shore on the north coast of Kangerluarsuk Fjord. Altered augite syenite and pegmatitic veins in a marginal zone of pneumatolitic alteration. Known for ilvaite. The first reported locality for bavenite in the Ilímaussaq complex (Petersen et al. 1995).
