The mine concessions at Thit-seint-kone (Oil-producing Nut Tree) are located at the bottom of the ridge near the village of Thit-seint-kone. The mines are using myaw-dwin methods to recover blue sapphire, ruby, aquamarine, goshenite, spinel, quartz, topaz, tourmaline and other gems from a small pegmatite dyke, as well as from the alluvium. At the nearby skarn topaz, quartz and other gems are found. - Ted Themelis (2008) Gems and Mines of Mogok
