Outcrop of quartz syenite, which includes zircon crystals to 5 cm in size. The crystals exhibit a distinct greyish white and black brown banding and up to 600 bands were identified in one single crystal. The black brown bands are ordinary zircon, whereas the greyish white bands are altered hydrous zircon (malacon).
