Ref.: New York State Museum Bulletin No. 199, Alling, Harold L. (July, 1917), The Adirondack Graphite Deposits: 12, 36-37. A prospect located about 2Β½ niles WNW of Wilmington Village. Exact location of the deposit is uncertain but it is believed to be on the shoulders of Wilmington Mt. It is a contact-type deposit of crystalline pale blue limestone & pyroxene-garnet rocks. Owned by J.E. Bliss of Tupper Lake. Workings comprised 4 prospect pits and a 20 foot deep shaft.
