Fluvio-glacial conglomeratic alluvium terrasse, close to the highway Geneva-Lausanne. The sediments from this post-glacial drainage channel have been processed during 2002-2003 for sand /gravel exploitation (Ronchi SA). Part of the sediment is originally sourced in Valais and contains gabbroic rocks (ophiolites).
